Would you like to make your own bowl the molten wonky way? Our flower garden fused glass bowl kit lets you design and create a beautifully curved, slightly wonky floral glass bowl from the comfort of your own kitchen or dining room table!
what’s included in this at-home glass fusing kit?
This make your own bowl kit contains everything you need to design your flower garden-inspired fused glass bowl. Open the box to reveal:
- Step-by-step instructions
- Paper for sketching your flower garden design
- Paper for planning your design layout (optional)
- PVA glue and a lolly stick for application
- A generous, unique mix of floral-inspired glass fragments, frits, rods, and millefiori
- A clear glass bowl template
- Tweezers for handling the smaller, fiddly pieces
- A name and return address slip (you’ll need to send your creation back to us so we can fire it in the kiln!)
how to use your flower garden DIY bowl kit
When your kit arrives, carefully unpack everything onto a clean work surface. Make sure to keep any packaging safe, as you’ll need it to return your design to us for firing.
It’s easy to make your very own flower garden fused glass bowl. Simply…
- Lay the clear glass template over the paper and draw around it to create a design template
- Sketch your design onto the paper template (this is optional! You can go straight ahead with glueing and arranging the glass pieces if you feel confident)
- Lay the clear glass template back over your finished paper template design, and apply a small amount of glue onto your chosen starting area
- Arrange your floral glass pieces however you fancy onto the glue. You can layer petals, build stems, or create abstract blooms… just make sure all pieces are firmly glued to the glass template!
- Leave your fused glass bowl design somewhere safe to dry for 24 hours
- Carefully wrap your flower garden wonky bowl in a paper towel, place it back in the box your kit arrived in, and complete the return slip. Pop it in the postbox and it will begin its journey back to the molten wonky studio.
Top tip: We recommend taking a picture of your finished design before posting it back to us. This will allow Katie to fix any loose elements caused during transit.
what happens when I send my floral fused glass bowl to the studio?
Once we’ve received your kit at the studio, we’ll carefully unbox your design and check that all of the glass elements are exactly where they’re meant to be.
Then, we’ll fire your bowl in our kiln at an extremely high temperature. This is where the glass fusing process begins, and your bowl will start to look more like a bowl! We’ll then carefully slump the bowl into its signature wonky shape.
We’ll aim to return your fused glass bowl within two to three weeks, ready to be used as a fun home decoration or a colourful gift for a loved one.
do you sell pre-made fused glass bowls?
Absolutely! We sell lots of fused glass bowls in a range of colours, from red and pink to yellow and lime green. We call them our fraggley bowls, since they are made up of individually laid glass fragments. They’re marvellously colourful and unique, and extremely popular in the molten wonky shop as pieces of dopamine decor.
DISCLAIMER
Our fused glass kits can be used by adults and older children, as long as they are under close supervision at all times. This is because the kit contains raw, unfired glass which can be sharp when mishandled. Please make sure to clean your workspace thoroughly after crafting and to handle all materials with care at all times.
Care for your product
To keep your wonky products looking lovely, wipe them gently with a damp cloth and dry with a cotton tea towel.
Handle your molten wonky products carefully, they are all made from fused glass and are breakable. If this happens please be careful of sharp fragments.

We know you'll love your purchase but just in case you change your mind you have fourteen days after delivery to return your goods.
The return item must be in its original condition, with all packaging materials, manuals, and any accessories intact.
