who is our studio glass night for?

Anyone and everyone ages 16+! We welcome all abilities into our studio. It is a place of learning and creativity, not perfectionism. 

Frequent attendees include…

• Complete beginners looking for an introduction to fused glass.
• Groups of friends and family wanting a crafty night out.
• Anyone who wants a hands-on, creative evening with a lovely bunch of people.

what can you expect during our evening craft event?

If you just can’t wait to experience the magic for yourself on the night, here’s a look into what you’ll be getting up to at our evening fused glass workshop…

step 1: roll up and settle in for the evening

Doors open from 6:30 to 7pm on the night. Come on in, have a look around the studio, and find your place ready for you at the table, where all of your tools and materials will be waiting. Now’s the time to say your hellos, pour your drink, and get comfy.

step 2: learn the basics with katie

Katie will walk you through all the basics you need to make your very own fused glass creation, from safety and layering to drawing and texture techniques. Don’t be afraid to ask questions!

step 3: pick your fused glass project

You’ll see from our studio that there are plenty of DIY fused glass kits to choose from! Your reservation fee will also be deducted from the price of whatever you choose to make on the night.

step 4: enjoy the process

Sketch, cut, arrange, and decorate with the expert guidance of Katie only a few steps away. Get chatting to the other attendees, and keep those drinks flowing!

step 5: head home while katie fires up the kiln

Leave your creations in Katie’s safe hands. She’ll place them in the kiln for firing after class, finish them with ribbons, and pack them away in their very own molten wonky boxes. 

You’ll be able to collect your creation from our studio, or you can arrange to have it posted back to you for an additional fee.
