Host a Talk
Katie has built her glass fusing business up slowly but surely and offers three different presentations giving an insight into her world of molten wonky glass fusing.
These talks are designed for WI groups, friendship meetings, schools or any group bigger than fifteen people.
There are three presentations you can choose from:
molten wonky - Katie's adventures in life and glass | 50 minute talk
In this presentation Katie tells you about her early days at college, her travels around the world and how she came to set up her glass fusing business that she continues to run from her Wonky Studio in Essex.
She will also talk about her Workshops and explain the process used in creating a fused glass piece of work.
She can offer a demo on glass cutting and Q&A's are invited at the end of this 45 minute talk.
Katie will also bring a selection of her work to show you and purchases can be made at the end of the talk. Payment via cash or card.
Duration: 50 minute talk and 10 minutes for Q & A and looking and shopping time
Cost : £55 plus return to studio fuel.

molten wonky - Katie's adventures with glass | 30 minute talk and 1 hour Make a Mini Dec Workshop
In this presentation Katie will talk to you about about how she set up and runs molten wonky and the glass she uses. She will also talk about workshops and kits and how you can make fused glass decoraotions yourself. Your group then get to join the fused glass fun and make your Mini Decorations in fused glass.
Katie will bring along her Glass Fusing Workshop Kit and each person who wants to take part gets to make a Mini Sun-Catcher Decoration (approx 6 x 6cm or 10 x 4cm) @ £15 per person, minimum fifteen makers, plus fuel @ county rate.
Duration: 30 minute talk followed by and hour for the Workshop. Time for Q & A and looking and shopping time either in-between or afterwards.
Cost : £30 plus fuel. Then £15 per person who wants to make a decoration

Your Adventures with Glass | Half and Full Day Workshops
Katie can come to you with her Workshop Kit and you can spend either a morning or a whole day making and creating fused glass decorations in the half or full day Workshop.
Katie will spend about 15 minutes giving you a brief introduction of herself and then explain how you can make your choosen decorations.
You can choose what everyone will make: a Coaster, a Picture, Rainbow or a Sun Catcher plus a Mini Decoration.
She will bring everything needed for your members to create their own piece of work and all they will need to bring is their imagination.
Katie will take all the unfired work back to her studio to fire in her kiln and you wil be able to collect the following week. It can all be posted back at a charge of £15.
You will need to supply a chair for each person and a table for Katie to set up the Workshop. Long lines of tables work best if possible.
This Workshop runs in two hour sessions: as an example, in the morning you make either a Coaster or Picture plus a Mini Decoration and the afternoon you make either a Sun Catcher or a Rainbow plus a Mini Decoration. The templates can be seasonal and the Workshop can run in either the morning or afternoon or all day
