In this three hour glass fusion workshop, you can spend your morning or afternoon playing with colourful glass and making your own decorations and ornaments to display at home.

Think you’re “not creative” or “no good at making things”? Twaddle! Katie believes that everyone can make something beautiful from glass — and she’ll make sure you walk away from the studio feeling proud!

When you arrive at the studio, you’ll be greeted with a cuppa, a quick tour around the studio, and a peek at Katie’s creations in the wonky shop (don’t worry, there’ll be plenty of time to peruse later!)

Katie will:

Explain the different types of glass you can use
Demo a rainbow of materials and provide samples — coloured glass sheets, frits, stringers, confetti, and fragments
Show you how to cut glass
Give you step-by-step guidance on how to create your own wonky masterpiece, including choosing a glass template, sketching your design, and building it layer by layer

what can you make?

During your glass fusion class, you can choose to make one of the following:

4 x coasters
4 x decorations
A set of bunting
20cm x 20cm picture
20cm round mandala picture
15 x 25cm picture
Curved panel
Light-up glass panel with LED

Don’t worry — Katie will be with you the whole time, providing guidance, encouragement, and tea and biscuit top-ups. You don’t have to decide on a design before you come, but a quick scroll on Pinterest can help spark some inspiration.

after the workshop

Once you’ve finished, your creation will be fired, finished, and lovingly packed in its very own molten wonky box. You’ll be able to collect it from our studio, or arrange to have everything posted back to you for an additional fee.
