what can I make with this spring-themed Easter egg craft kit?
This make your own Easter egg kit has everything you need to design and create a stunning oval glass Easter egg decoration in gorgeous springtime colours. Each egg measures approximately 10 x 12cm, the perfect size for hanging, displaying, and gifting.
Within the kit you’ll find a range of unique fused glass frits, stringers, and fragments which you can use to design and personalise your Easter egg. Choose from soft spring tones like pink, yellow, turquoise, and green to get that springtime feeling going.
Once we’ve received your finished design and fired it in our kiln, you can hang your Easter egg ornament in a sunny window, position it on seasonal plants and branches to catch the light, or gift it to a loved one.

You’ll find everything you need to get started inside your spring-themed Easter egg craft kit, including:
- Step-by-step instructions
- Paper for sketching out your design (optional but recommended if you have a complex design in mind!)
- PVA glue and lolly stick for application
- A colourful, unique selection of spring-themed glass fragments, frits, and rods
- Tweezers (for the fiddly pieces!)
- One clear oval, egg-shaped glass template
- Name and return address slip (so we can fire your design and send it back to you!)
Remember, each of our make at home fused glass kits are different from the next, with little variations in the colour and shape of the frits and fragments to make them as marvellously wonky as possible.
This means your glass Easter egg will be one-of-a-kind from the very start of the crafting process.
how to use your Easter egg glass fusing kit
When your kit arrives, open it up carefully onto a clean and clear work surface. Make sure to keep all of the packaging — you’ll need it to safely return your design to our studio.
To create your spring-themed Easter egg, follow the simple steps below:
- Sketch your design onto the paper provided. This will be useful if you have a specific design in mind, like florals, stripes, or abstract patterns.
- Place the oval Egg-shaped glass template over the sketch and apply a small amount of glue to your starting area.
- Layer your coloured glass frits, fragments, and stringers over the top to bring your Spring-themed design to life.
- Leave your spring Easter egg somewhere safe to dry for 24 hours.
- Once dry, carefully wrap up your creation in a paper towel, and place it back into the box.
- Fill out the return address slip and send your fused glass Egg back to us for firing.
Top tip: Please take a quick photo of your design before posting back to us, just in case anything shifts during the journey. This way, we’ll be able to fix any missing pieces before firing it in our kiln.
when will I get my finished glass Easter egg back?
When your Easter egg arrives at our Essex glass fusing studio, Katie will pop your decoration into our super hot kiln, allowing it to transform into a glossy fused glass decoration.
Once cool, she’ll add a hanging ring and ribbon so it’s ready to display. Your completed decoration will then be returned to you within two to three weeks, ready to fill your home with some spring-time, Easter joy.
