Ready to ride the wave? Our fabulous wave picture and coaster fused glass kit lets you design your very own ocean-inspired glass art… all from the comfort of your kitchen table! Each kit includes everything you need to get started and create something marvellously unique.

If calming seascapes exist only in your imagination, this DIY fused glass kit will bring the waves straight to your space.
Here’s what you can create with this make at home fused glass kit:
- A wave picture decoration (approximately 10 x 12 cm)
- A matching DIY glass coaster (approximately 10 x 10 cm)
what is included in this fused glass kit?
Each kit includes everything you need to make your own fused glass wave and matching coaster. Carefully open the box of your fused glass kit to reveal:
- Step-by-step instructions
- Paper for sketching your chosen design
- PVA glue and lolly stick for application
- A unique mix of blue and white glass fragments, as well as a few shimmering silver sprinkles
- Tweezers for placing the smaller glass fragments
- Two glass templates (one for the picture, and one for the matching coaster)
- Name and return address slip (so we can fire your creations in our kiln!)
Each kit is slightly different from the next at molten wonky. This ensures that your finished DIY glass decoration will be completely unique and, of course, wonderfully wonky in every way!
how to use your DIY fused glass wave kit
When your kit has arrived, unpack its contents onto a clean work surface. Make sure to keep all packaging safe, as you’ll need it to return your creations to us for firing.
To create your wave picture and coaster, follow the steps below:
- Sketch your wave design onto the paper provided. Whether you go for tall rolling waves or abstract ocean textures. It will look amazing either way.
- Place the correct glass template (coaster or picture) over your sketch and apply a little bit of glue to your starting area.
- Add your blue fragments, white glass, and silver sprinkles to build your very own wave design.
- Leave your wave picture and matching coaster somewhere safe to dry for 24 hours.
- Wrap up your work in paper towel and carefully place it back into the box. Fill out the return address slip and send your creations back to us for firing!
Top tip: Please take a picture of your finished designs before sending them back to us. This ensures that we can make any fixes in case any pieces shift during transit.
what happens when I send my designs to the studio?
When your creations arrive back to our Essex glass fusing studio, Katie will kiln-fire them to transform them into smooth, glossy decorations. We’ll even add a hanging ring to your picture and also finish your DIY glass coaster with grips so they’re ready to use straight away.
You can expect your pieces to be returned within 2-3 weeks, ready to bring some coastal calm and colour to your home.

Our fused glass kits are designed for adults. However, older children can take part under close supervision. Our kits include raw, unfired glass which can cause injury if handled incorrectly.
Please clean your workspace thoroughly after crafting and handle all materials with care.
Care for your product
To keep your wonky products looking lovely, wipe them gently with a damp cloth and dry with a cotton tea towel.
Handle your molten wonky products carefully, they are all made from fused glass and are breakable. If this happens please be careful of sharp fragments.

Returns Policy
We know you'll love your purchase but just in case you change your mind you have fourteen days after delivery to return your goods.
The return item must be in its original condition, with all packaging materials, manuals, and any accessories intact.
