Fancy an Easter egg that lasts longer than chocolate? With this DIY Easter egg decoration kit, you can design and create a flower-garden-inspired oval Easter egg measuring approximately 10 x 12cm.
Each kit includes a carefully selected mix of floral glass fragments, rods, and millefiori flowers. Use the millefiori for flower centres, rods for stems, and fragments to build petals, grass, and sky.
The end result is your very own tiny flower garden set within a gorgeously unique Easter egg hanging decoration.

- Step-by-step instructions
- Paper for sketching your design (optional)
- PVA glue and a lolly stick for mess-free application
- A generous, unique mix of floral glass fragments, rods, and miniature millefiori
- Tweezers for placing the smaller, fiddly pieces
- One clear glass Easter egg template
- Name and return address slip (so we can fire your creation in our kiln and send it back to you!)
Because every template is hand cut and each bag of glass is slightly different, no two DIY Easter egg decorations will ever be the same. That’s the molten wonky way.
how to use your DIY Easter egg decoration kit
Once your kit arrives, unpack everything onto a clean work surface and keep all of the packaging to hand. You’ll need it to return your design to us for firing.
To create your flower garden themed Easter egg decoration, simply follow the steps below:
- Sketch your flower garden design onto the sketching paper provided.
- Place the glass template over your sketch and apply a small amount of glue to your starting area.
- Arrange your colourful glass fragments, rods, and millefiori to build your very own flower garden Easter egg design.
- Leave your Easter egg decoration somewhere safe to dry for 24 hours.
- Carefully wrap up your piece in a paper towel and place it into the box.
- Fill out the return address slip and send your bunting back to us for firing.
Top tip: Take a photo of your design before sending it back to us in case anything shifts during transit.
what happens once I send my Easter egg back to you?
When your Easter egg arrives to us in our Essex glass fusing studio, Katie will kiln-fire your glass Easter egg decoration at an incredibly high temperature. The heat will transform your design into a smooth, glossy finished piece.
Once cool, we’ll add a hanging ring and ribbon so your decoration will be ready to display or gift as soon as it arrives on your doorstep.
Your finished Easter egg will be returned within two to three weeks, ready to bring some springtime joy and dopamine decor to your space.
