Have you ever wanted to have a go at a glass fusing workshop? We host plenty of glass fusing classes and events at our glass art studio based in the heart of the Essex countryside.

GLASS FUSING NIGHTS AT THE STUDIO

Looking for a crafty BYOB event near you? Join Katie at the studio for a fun, relaxed evening making colourful fused glass decorations. Sessions begin at 6.30pm and end at 10pm, with prices starting at just £20 per person (including a £5 booking fee).

OPEN STUDIO FUSED GLASS WORKSHOPS

We host regular open studio days, where you can pop along to our studio, have a look around, and make your own fused glass decorations if you fancy!

Our open studio days are a low-pressure and fun way to browse our fused glass gifts and decorations and maybe even get a bit creative yourself. Expect plenty of chat and a friendly welcome.

THREE-HOUR GLASS FUSING CLASS

If you’d like to learn the basics of glass fusing and design your own fused glass creation, our three-hour glass fusing class is definitely for you! Join in with a group whenever advertised, or get together with a group of three or more, and Katie will arrange a suitable time and date for you to come along.

You’ll spend your time learning about glass fusing techniques and construction tips alongside like-minded creatives, with Katie guiding you every step of the way (and providing tea, coffee, and biscuits — of course!)

Planning on hosting a hen-do party, kids’ party, or celebratory event with eight or more people? Katie can either host your glass fusing party from her Essex studio or bring her glass fusing expertise to you and deliver a two-hour fused glass workshop from your home or chosen venue.

She’ll come along to your venue to chat about how molten wonky was born, her working life and experience, and a few other exciting tidbits! You can even pair this with a workshop if you wish.

what is a molten wonky workshop?

A molten wonky workshop is somewhere Katie can encourage others to be proudly and unashamedly creative.

'OH NO,' we hear some of you cry, 'I'm not creative!' But Katie will say, "Oh yes, you are!" At molten wonky, we believe everyone has creativity within them. All you need is the desire to make something colourful in glass, and you're already halfway there.

Katie loves running glass fusing workshops from her studio in Essex. She has created a wide selection of different types of fused glass workshops so that everyone can have fun and enjoy being creative with glass.

If you live too far away and can't get to the studio in Essex, don’t worry! You can still enjoy making your own fused glass decorations with one of our DIY fused glass kits.

At the end of all of our glass fusing workshops and classes, your work will be fired in one of our kilns and will be ready to collect the following week. We can also post your work to you for an extra £6.
