what will your Easter egg glass fusing kit include?
We’ve made our fused glass art kits nice and straightforward to enjoy. Whether you’re solo crafting or getting creative with friends, open up your Easter egg glass fusing kit and find:
- Easy-to-follow instructions
- Paper for sketching your design ideas
- PVA glue and a lolly stick for spreading it
- A unique selection of glass fragments, frits, and rods in an array of colours
- Tweezers (to help you pick up and place the fiddly small fragments)
- A clear glass Easter egg template (measuring 10cm x 12cm)
- Name and return address slip (so we can fire your creations in the kiln and send the complete piece of art back to you)
how to create your rainbow glass Easter egg
When your DIY easter egg kit arrives, open the box carefully and unpack the contents onto a clean work surface. Keep the packaging so you can send your rainbow Easter egg back to us for firing in the kiln.
Follow our step-by-step instructions, and you’ll soon have a charming glass Easter decoration to spruce up your space.
- Trace around the Easter egg template onto the sketching paper so you can plan out your design. You could go for a pattern, like stripes or zig zags, or try something more abstract. Unleash your creativity!
- Place the glass template over your sketched design and add a thin layer of glue. Spread it out using the lolly stick.
- Start adding your colourful glass fragments, sticking them onto the egg shape. You can build up layers, too. Just make sure everything is secured well with glue.
- Once you’re happy with your glass Easter egg, set it aside and let it dry for 24 hours.
- You can then carefully wrap your DIY Easter egg in a paper towel, place it in the box your kit arrived in, and complete the return slip. Pop it in the post and send it back to the molten wonky studio.
Top tip: We recommend taking a photo of your lovely glass Easter egg before you send it back to us. That way, if anything dislodges en route to us, we can make sure it’s back in the right spot before we fire your design in our kiln.
what happens once the glass Easter eggs are back at the studio?
When your Easter eggs arrive at molten wonky HQ, we’ll double-check every glass fragment is where you want it, then fire it in our kiln. This will take your glass decoration to a toasty temperature for around 14 hours, so it all fuses together.
Once the egg has cooled, we’ll add a hanging ring and ribbon, then get your creation back in the post on its way to you.
You should receive your rainbow glass egg within two to three weeks.

Care for your product
To keep your wonky products looking lovely, wipe them gently with a damp cloth and dry with a cotton tea towel.
Handle your molten wonky products carefully, they are all made from fused glass and are breakable. If this happens please be careful of sharp fragments.
