We’ve crafted our red postbox decoration from deep, glossy red opal glass, giving it that rich and classic colour we all know and love. And remember, each one is handmade in our glass fusing studio, meaning each one has its own unique shape, quirks, and wonky charm.
how we make our fused glass postbox decorations
Katie begins creating the postbox decoration with a sheet of red opal fusing glass. She handcuts the classic shape, adds the posting hole (how else would you send your cards?!), then sprinkles of festive glitter before placing it in the kiln for around 12 hours.
After its long and gentle firing, she adds a nylon cord for easy hanging, whether that be on the tree, in a garland, or on the mantlepiece. These postbox decorations also make lovely stocking fillers, teacher gifts, and Secret Santa presents for those who love a spot of British tradition.

Each postbox decoration measures approximately 7 x 3 cm, the perfect size for tree decorating, gifting, or even as a luxury present gift tag!
We’ll wrap up your decoration in tissue paper, then place it carefully in a molten wonky box for safe delivery.
how to look after your fused glass postbox
To keep your postbox decoration looking ruby red all Christmas long, simply wipe it with a damp cloth and dry with a cotton tea towel.
Please make sure to handle your decoration with care, as fused glass can break if dropped. If an accident occurs, please look out for sharp fragments and get in touch for Katie’s nifty “fix-it” service.

If you’ve changed your mind on your postbox decoration, you can return it within fourteen days of delivery (as long as it’s in its original condition with all packaging included).

Care for your product
To keep your wonky products looking lovely, wipe them gently with a damp cloth and dry with a cotton tea towel.
Handle your molten wonky products carefully, they are all made from fused glass and are breakable. If this happens please be careful of sharp fragments.
